Some people just call it video blogging, vlogging, there's a bunch of different terms.  But I'm going to show you how simple it is to utilize video.   You can do videos on all kinds of topics for a video blog, for example, you can do a little video about a restaurant you might like in your target area, or if you do a virtual tour of a home, that's a video to use on your blog.  I believe in video! I believe it's one of the best ways to stay in touch with somebody.
